Flood

What changes did the flood bring to the earth?

A flood the size and duration of Noah's flood would have wreaked tremendous havoc on the earth. The entire geography would have changed. The climate would also have changed drastically. Fossil evidence shows that tropical plants used to grown in areas near the poles and that plants, animals, and even humans used to grow much bigger than they do today. Some fossilized human footprints are over a foot long!

Is there any evidence of a worldwide, destructive flood?

Evidence in the fossil record:

*Fossils are found all over the world. The flood covered the entire world.

*Fossils are dead creatures. The flood killed every living creature.

*Fossils are found in layers of rock that were laid down by water. These layers are found all over the earth. The flood would have laid down vast amounts of mud and silt all over the earth.

*Fossils are formed only when creatures are buried quickly and thoroughly. Usually when a creature dies its body decays or is eaten by other animals. Even creatures that are buried in a usual manner will undergo decay. Only when a body is buried very rapidly in such a manner that no oxygen can get in will a fossil have a chance to form. Such conditions are rate. The fact that fossils are found in great abundance all over the world testifies to a worldwide, catastrophic flood.
