Train in the Midst of a Storm

Lightening lit up the window, as thunder sounded, slightly waking me.

In that place between dreamland and wide awake, I heard a train.

My brain told me that a tornado sounds like an approaching train. Now fully awake, I looked out of the window. Rain poured down, the sky lit up like the fourth of July and cracks of thunder sounded.

And the train got louder. Fear struck me.

As I continued to look, the storm played out right outside my window. I heard a whistle blow in the midst of the bending trees.

Then I heard metal clanking. It was a real train, so I went back to sleep.

Introducing Jill Kaiser

Each day I edit, write, study and plot. The book I'm editing is Night to Knight. A guy, without the knowledge of his wife rescues, abducted children. His wife becomes suspicious and his daughter rebellious. Can Mark Steele, ex-special forces commander, change to keep his family?

I'm writing, Beyond the Night. Kaitlyn Kramer makes preparations to marry. Those plans turn into a funeral when her fiance is killed in a tugboat accident. Two years later she meets a Navy officer. Can she release the past to live in the future?

I'm plotting, SCI, Supernatural Crime Investigators. Jack Stone recruits several young people to investigate a house he claims to be haunted. Nothing is as it seems when four young adults, two girls, and two boys, agree to stay in the house for one week. If they can make it, each will learn something valuable about themselves and earn 10,000 dollars.

One of the young ladies in SCI is Jill Kaiser. She is twenty-two years old, an actress, lonely and nearly broke. While on a set of a cheap movie, Jack Stone, millionaire, offers an opportunity that she can't resist. To stay in a haunted house for one week and earn 10,000 dollars.
Jill has secrets that will be revealed, fears she didn't know she had. Life will never be the same for this middle child.
Stay tuned for more updates.
