Satisfying God's Nature

Why the laws in the Old Testament? Why the cross? Many whys but what's the answer. God is Holy. He is Just and He's Love. At the right time, Jesus came to bring heaven, earth, and his creation back together. God's nature has to be satisfied. He can't go against himself. His wrath is beyond description against sin. We see that hatred as Jesus went to the cross. When we accept that act of sacrifice, proclaim ourselves as sinners, and turn to Jesus, we are forgiven and the wrath of God toward us is satisfied.
