Weekly Health Tip: Finding Purpose

How do we live the best possible life we can live? It's found in purpose. How do we discover that? Dig deep inside yourself. What do you really want in life? Just to survive is not a purpose, it's survival. Let's say someone tried to stab your hand with a pencil. Your purpose is to protect yourself. Then the person says, "The only way you can save your child is to be stabbed. You'd have a different purpose.  The more specific your purpose, the more you will live uncomfortable in order to get to your goal. Those who aim for a greater cause than themselves get there. For me, I had to pass my bus physical. It was a purpose that propelled me towards my goal.  My purpose has changed since I've reached a healthy weight. Continual reevaluation of purpose is vital.
