That's my dumb joke of the week.  Apples contain a soluble fiber called pectin. When this soluble fiber combines with vitamin C, they along with other chemicals, form a form of protective shielding around our hearts. These aides in cardiovascular disease prevention. Apples also increase glucose levels, which help you feel full.  There you go. Aren't you hungry for an apple today? You fed your mind. Now it's time to feed your body in healthy ways.
