Weekly Health Tip: Why

t the beginning of a health journey, one must ask the question, Why? What's the purpose? Charlie asked me to write my "Why" out on a card. I wanted to stay driving bus. In order to do that, I needed to pass an annual physical.  "Randy, if your diabetes gets any worse, you'll have difficulty passing this physical," my doctor said. That was my wake-up call. My why has changed. My new purpose is worship. I've learned that the way I eat is a form of worship. When the focus was on myself, I emotionally ate. That put me in an obese state.  Now, I want to have energy, a good sleep, and the desire to be the best version of myself, so.... I can stay alert in my prayer time.  To have greater memory and better retention. What's your "Why?"
